Terms of sale
These terms govern the purchase of products through menajeonline.com. By placing an order you accept them, so it is worth reading them first. They are written to be understood: if anything is unclear, ask us in the shop or write to hola@menajeonline.com.

2. Who can buy
Anyone of legal age with capacity to enter into a contract may buy. The products on this website are sold to consumers for personal use, not for resale.
Everything these terms say about withdrawal and guarantees applies to people buying as consumers. A business purchase is governed by the Spanish Commercial Code and Civil Code, not by consumer law.
3. The products
The website catalogue is the physical shop's catalogue, and the stock is the same. If, while preparing an order, something turns out to be unavailable, we will let you know and refund that item without you having to ask.
Photographs and descriptions are for guidance. A saucepan may have a different finish depending on the manufacturer's batch without that making it a different product; if the difference matters, you have the right of withdrawal and the guarantee.
4. Prices
All prices are in euros and include VAT. Nothing is added at checkout except, where applicable, the delivery charge, which is shown before you pay.
The catalogue includes items with different VAT rates. The breakdown by rate appears in the basket and in the order confirmation, so you can check it.
The price that applies is the one you see in the basket when you confirm. If we spot an obvious pricing error before preparing the order, we will tell you, and you can either confirm it at the correct price or cancel it at no cost.
5. How to pay
You pay by card or with Bizum, through a payment gateway. Card details are entered in the gateway and travel encrypted: the shop never sees or stores them.
With Bizum, you enter the mobile number registered with Bizum and approve the payment in your bank's app. If you do not approve it, nothing is charged.
The order is confirmed when the gateway authorises the payment. Until then there is no sales contract.
6. The invoice
For every order we issue an invoice and send it to you by email, in electronic format, to the address you give us when you buy. By placing the order you agree to receive it this way, in accordance with Article 9 of the Spanish Invoicing Regulation (Royal Decree 1619/2012 of 30 November).
Unless you tell us otherwise, it is a simplified invoice. If you need it in the name of a company or with other details, tick «I need an invoice for a company or with different details» before paying: we will ask for the tax ID (NIF) and tax address, and the invoice will be issued in that name.
If you prefer a paper invoice, tell us by email at hola@menajeonline.com, by phone on 933 517 454 or in the shop, and we will give it to you on paper at no cost.
If you return something, we will send you, in the same way, the corrective invoice that amends the original.
7. How you receive it
Collection in store: free. We let you know when your order is ready and you can collect it from the shop, at Passeig de Maragall, 94, 08041 Barcelona, during opening hours.
Home delivery: €5.99 to mainland Spain, VAT included. The cost appears in the basket before you pay, and the total you see there is what you are charged. There are no hidden fees.
Collecting in store does not change your rights. The contract is made online, so it is still a distance sale and you keep your 14 days to withdraw even if you collect the order in person. It is the most common question, and the answer is yes.
8. Returns and right of withdrawal
You have 14 calendar days to return what you have bought without giving any reason, counted from the day you receive the product. The details, exceptions and form are on the returns page.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the product if you choose to send it. Bringing it to the shop costs nothing. And if you return it because it is faulty, you pay nothing: that is the guarantee, not a withdrawal.
9. Legal guarantee
If a product does not conform to what was sold, we are liable for 3 years from delivery. This is the legal guarantee under Article 120 of the Spanish consolidated General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users, and you do not need to buy anything to have it.
During the first two years the defect is presumed to have existed when we delivered the product, so you do not have to prove it.
You can choose between repair and replacement, and both are free of charge: they include transport, labour and materials. If neither is possible, if we do not carry it out within a reasonable time, or if the defect is serious enough, you can ask for a price reduction or to cancel the purchase.
Normal use, wear and tear, and damage caused by use other than the intended one are not lack of conformity. A non-stick frying pan scratched with a knife is not covered; one that loses its non-stick coating on its own is.
10. If something goes wrong

If we cannot reach an agreement, you can ask us for the official complaint form (full oficial de reclamació), which every business in Catalonia must make available to you, and file it with the Agència Catalana del Consum (the Catalan consumer agency) or with the Oficina Municipal d'Informació al Consumidor (OMIC), Barcelona City Council's consumer information office.
The shop is not a member of any consumer arbitration board. We would rather say so than leave it unclear: if it were, you would have another option and it would appear here.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. As a consumer, no clause on this page can deprive you of the protection given to you by mandatory consumer protection rules, or require you to go to court anywhere other than where you live.
